Love in Barcelona

So, as I said before I took an opportunity to visit Barcelona for a few days. I pottered around, letting my feet guide me, not a single care in the world. I stayed in a lovely little apartment that I found on Air BnB just off the famous La Rambla, pottered down little streets into the Barri Gothic, ordered Una cerveza a fair few times, saw some of the iconic Gaudi places such as Sagrada familia and the Park Guell and then met up with Gabby and Alex for a amazing couple shoot on the beach. It was lovely to meet them and wonderful to photograph them – they made it very easy for me by being so beautifully Loved Up!! Here are some photos along with a few holiday snaps inbetween…..

Kinfolk Gathering

Last weekend I had the great honour of photographing a Kinfolk Gathering for the wonderful Tassja and Ana of Juniper and Lily. ”The Kinfolk community gatherings are an invitation to engagement: engaging with new skills, new relationships, and a refreshed understanding of the physical world around us”. Our gathering was focused on Flowers – creating beautiful bunches and crowns and then enjoying a delicious spring time meal. Tassja and Ana were such amazing hosts – making everyone feel extremely welcome and providing us with a wholesome, tasty and nutritious feast. It was a wonderful way of spending an afternoon meeting new, lovely people with a shared passion for food and new experiences.

Danielle and Abi

Danielle and Abi are getting married soon in Manchester at Hilltop Country House where Danielle’s parents are from which I will have the pleasure of photographing. They are then travelling to Mauritius which unfortunately I will not be going to, to have a second wedding which is where Abi is from. We spent this lovely sunny morning in Brockwell Park in Brixton getting to know eachother and getting them used to being photographed! Was a great morning spent with this lovely couple, we even had lunch at The Lido cafe which made me feel very excited about summer! Enjoy!

Tova, Tilly and Kenny

Meet Tova and Kenny and the gorgeous little whippet called Tilly. I met this lovely, humble couple in Oxford where they live and will soon to be married. Both were a little camera shy but very soon they warmed up and I think they look like pros. Thanks for letting me photograph you and for sharing your love story with me.

Easter Bunnies

Hoping you all had a wonderful Easter. I was back home, seeing family, celebrating my sisters birthday, and eating hot cross buns and I’d like to say chocolate but didn’t get an egg this year:( I went to Whipsnade Zoo and saw a baby giraffe and baby elephants which was AMAZING and in my garden back home there was new life too. My Dad breeds Rabbits – just for fun and to take them to shows! When I was younger we spent many weekends travelling around the UK trying to win best in show! I don’t take too much interest in it now if im honest but was excited to see the cutest baby bunnies this weekend…. some were only 1 hour old (i couldn’t photograph these as we didn’t want to take them away from mum) others 8 days old and then some a few months. What a miracle new life is.

Bath Love

I had the pleasure of photographing Steph and Tom in their home town Bath. I met these lovely people as I will be shooting their wedding in Taunton which after hearing all the details I am so excited! A lovely, natural and very smiley couple – I loved their company and can’t wait to see the happy couple on the big day xx

Peppermint Pie

I was asked to photograph some cupcakes for a Humming Bird Bakery competition which was so fun! Robyn came up with a new recipe that involved Peppermint and caramel. Robyn baked a lot of cakes so myself and Aldie (our Art director for the shoot) had the prettiest to choose from, we also had to test them throughout the shoot to make sure they were ok…… mmmmm!!! It was a really fun experience and a pleasure to work with these lovely ladies. Maybe soon I can reveal the recipe to you all….. but for now its just looking….. Enjoy!
